Youths arrested for murder plan

Two youths were arrested by the police while they were planning to murder one of their friend in Anand Bihar Colony here today.
Acting on a tip-off that some criminals have gathered near the colony to execute a murder plan, the M G M police team reached the spot and found a youth identified as Rajib Kumar Pal, who was a resident of the same colony, moving around suspiciously, said Superintendent of Police (city). Karthik S.
Following a search, police recovered a country-made pistol from his possession and a live cartridge from the possession of one of Pal's accomplice, Niraj Tiwary, a resident of Mango here,he said.

On being interrogated, Pal confessed money lending and subsequent non payment was the reason for their plan of murder.
