Zambian national arrested with narcotics in Punjab

A Zambian national, studying in a private university in Maheru village here, was arrested for allegedly possessing narcotics, police said today.
Accused, Allen Unani Maschelle was nabbed last night with four gram of heroin near the university's gate in Chaheru area, police said.
He has been booked under sections 21/61/85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, they said.
In two separate cases, Varinder Kumar alias Bheema and Balwant Singh alias Bant were arrested yesterday for allegedly possessing intoxicating powder and heroin here, police said.
