The enterprising Cantonese have come up with the claim that the critical solution to the Mir problem was provided locally. They claim that the Russian cosmonauts have been repairing the space station Mir using some unique tools - a forceps type device "" specially designed and built by a pair of Hong Kong visionaries - Dr Ng Tze Chuen, a local dentist and professor Yung Kai-Leung, who runs the Polytechnic Universitys Department of Manufacturing Engineering.
