The champion of the Darwin T20 cricket league 2020 will be decided on Monday (June 8) as Southern Districts and Waratah cricket club stormed to the final after winning their respective semifinal games today. In the final, Southern Districts won the toss and elected to field first. There were nearly 200 crowds watching the final at the Marrara Cricket Ground, Darwin.

Competitive cricket has returned in Australia after a haitus on account of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. A community-level cricket tournament, CDU Top End T20 tournament, also known as Darwin T20 cricket league 2020, which started on June 6, has acted as a testing ground for cricket in the Covid-19 environment.
