Croatia have yet again come out as winners in a game that went into extra time and eventually into the Penalty Shoot-Out. The quarterfinal bout between the Croats and the Brazil side ended 0-0 in regulation time of 90 minutes before the extra time was called in. 

 

In the extra time, Neymar broke the deadlock with an aesthetically pleasing goal in the 105th minute. Croatia's never-say-die attitude came to their rescue as Petkovic scored in the 116th minute and sent the game into the penalty shoot-out. 

 

In the shoot-out, Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed the penalty while all the Croatian takers hit the back of the net to eventually win it 4-2 and advance to yet another semi-final where they will await the winners of the Netherlands vs Argentina clash which takes place later tonight.
