iPhone 7 receives good response in India

Positive consumer sentiment, coupled with aggressive offers by Apple’s trade partners in India, appears to have lured many to buy the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, launched on Friday. Reliance Jio said consumers purchasing a new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus at Reliance Digital stores, select Apple premium resellers and Apple authorised resellers would get 12 months of complimentary Jio Digital Services worth Rs 18,000, including unlimited local, STD calls and unlimited text, 20 GB of 4G data, 40 GB of Wi-Fi data and unlimited night 4G data. I have got to admit I was never a fan of big-screen phones or phablets. Thus, I wasn't very convinced when Apple came out with their Plus line of devices. Then the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge compelled me to look hard at phones as one's primary candid camera. And, since the iPhone 7 Plus was unveiled, I was itching to give it a look - so what if it's a phablet. Shifting from my iPhone 5s to the 7 Plus was like trading a Fiat for a Ferrari. India is among the six countries in the world where Google will launch its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.
