Earlier this week, Google unveiled the Pixel, the first smartphone made by the search giant that directly targets the iPhone. Starting from Rs 57,000, these phones would be available in India later this month. Here is a look at the five things that could set these phones, which sports two screen sizes of 5-inch and 5.5-inch, apart:

> Google Assistant built in: This is the first phone that comes with the built-in Google Assistant. While this is already built into Google Allo, this is Google's version of Siri built into the handset. Initial reactions online have been positive.

> Camera conundrum: Apple has fired the first shot with the dual cameras on the iPhone 7 Plus. But Google claims the Pixel has got the highest-rated smartphone camera by DxOMark Mobile. While little is known about the camera, preliminary responses have been good.

> Unlimited storage: The Pixel comes with unlimited storage on the cloud. All photos clicked by the Pixel would be uploaded at their full resolution, something that was first made available on Flickr by Yahoo! Also, along with Google's Assistant and Photos' built-in classification features, keeping your photos organised becomes easier.

> Pixel Imprint: The phone uses Pixel Imprint to use one's fingerprint to unlock the phone quickly. Placed at the back of the phone, it provides quick access to apps, texts and emails. And swiping down on the fingerprint sensor gives one access to all notifications.

> Google on help: While using a Pixel, one gets support from a Google expert with just a tap. One just needs to open the Settings app on the device and tap the Support tab. It also allows the user to share his or her screen with an expert who will help with a step-by-step a solution.
