HCL subsidiary gets distinctive recognition

HCL Comnet, the leading IT services company and a subsidiary of HCL Technologies, today announced that it has been awarded the status of Managed Services Partner by Cisco in recognition of HCL Comnet’s mature delivery model and long standing credentials in providing managed IT infrastructure services to Indian and global clients.

The elite Cisco Powered Program allows Comnet to promote and nourish a world-leading Managed Services portfolio using Cisco Solutions. The designation recognises HCL Comnet for having consistently worked to acquire the resources and establish sound procedures to deploy, manage and support these managed services.

As part of Cisco Managed Service Program, HCL Comnet has also been awarded the “Cisco Powered Managed Datacentre” and “Cisco Powered Managed Security” authorisations, which recognise HCL Comnet as a world leader in providing Managed Services in these domains. HCL Comnet is the first company in India to achieve the “Cisco Powered Managed Datacentre Partner” status.

Comnet is now authorised to resell Cisco equipment and services bundled along with HCL Comnet’s Remote Infrastructure Management Services to customers in all global markets including the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. This makes HCL Comnet a one-stop shop for clients’ Managed Services requirements and allows it to engage with clients in flexible, customised service models for their network, security and datacenter infrastructure equipments.
