US-headquartered business software provider Infor on Wednesday launched its Centre of Excellence (CoE) here at Manikonda. The centre would deliver products and services to global clients, particularly from the Asia Pacific region.
Speaking to the media, chairman and chief executive officer Jim Schaper said the new centre would focus on increased efficiency and reduced customer response time. The centre would employ about 550 people.
It would provide support to Infor customers in Europe, West Asia and Africa. A team here would also be involved in financial structuring, said Schaper.
The company’s global revenues stood at over $ 2 billion. It has 70,000 customers in 100 countries and was adding about 2,000 customers a year, he said.
