Microsoft's executive briefing centre in Hyderabad

Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd inaugurated its first executive briefing centre (EBC) for the APAC region in Hyderabad on Thursday. EBC is based on the Microsoft campus and is co-located with India development centre (IDC) and the global delivery centre India (GDCI).
 
The EBC will provide customers and partners the opportunity to engage with Microsoft leadership team, and technical talent available in these centres on business and IT issues.
 
In addition, it will also allow them to gain an insight into Microsoft's vision for technology over the next few years, especially within the context of their own industry trends, a press release said.
 
The EBC is part of the company's worldwide executive briefing programme, which provides customers and partners with a special forum for a more strategic engagement with Microsoft at an executive level.
 
Customers at EBC Hyderabad will get a first hand view of how Microsoft manages its worldwide IT infrastructure from the networks operation centre of the GDCI.
 
Additionally, customers would gain business and technology insights from senior executives and technical experts from the IDC & GDCI.
 
While GDCI develops business solutions for Microsoft businesses worldwide and manages global IT infrastructure, IDC undertakes development of core Microsoft products & technologies.
 
Ravi Venkatesan, chairman, Microsoft Corporation India Private Limited said, "We are confident that our customer and partners across the region will find the facility extremely valuable."
 
The centre was inaugurated by S Ramadorai, chief executive officer and managing director, TCS, in the presence of Rama Raju, managing director, Satyam Computer Services and Will Poole, senior vice-president, Windows Client Business, Microsoft Corporation.
