Co is eyeing deals for its 3D technology operations in Gujarat
With the hope of catering to immersive training and simulation needs of industries in Gujarat, Bangalore-based Nexxoft Infotel Limited is eyeing deals for its 3D technologies operations in the state.
The company, with prime focus in interactive 3D technologies, games, radio frequency identification (RFID) based security and people-tracking solutions, besides enterprise resource planning (ERP), plans to predominantly cater to sectors like manufacturing, auto ancillary and IT.
"We provide easy to use 3D integrated application design, simulation, and augmented reality tools needed to develop training, security and multi platform gaming applications powered by our XForce Engine. Such 3D application can be used in immersive training, virtual reality, augmented reality and serious gaming which are very promising areas. We hope to cater to companies in Gujarat in various sectors in their immersive training and simulation needs through our 3D technologies," said Jayaram Sathyanarayana, director at Nexxoft Infotel Limited.
The company's XForce engine core is a technology platform that powers real-time 3D graphics and visualisation . The platform is enabled by 15-16 core modules like scene editor, module manager, mesh manager, and import and export tools that support visual rendering techniques such as advanced shader pipeline (for simulating near realistic materials and surfaces), post processing effects such as bloom, HDR lighting, deferred shading etc.
Nexxoft plans to cater to the Gujarat market through system integrators and channel distribution partners.
The company has already built and delivered applications for various industry segments including transportation, equipment and machines, education and training, architecture, retail, medical and defense. Among applications, Nexxoft has covered interactive simulation, immersive training, 3D visualisation and interactive walkthrough, augmented reality, virtual patient, interactive 3D surgery, laboratory training and simulation, imaging, and 3D reconstruction.
Moreover, Nexxoft has entered into a strategic partnership with Spinetix, a Swiss company specialising in digital signage products with high end proprietary technology hardware and software solutions that replaces conventional usage of PC for digital signage which has a high cost of maintenance. Nexxoft plans to distribute Spinetix's products and Nexxoft's applications for the Indian market.
