Technology firm Nivio today said it has joined hands with telecom services provider Bharti Airtel to launch low-cost desktops priced at Rs 3,000 by the end of this month.
"We will launch a low-cost desktop priced at Rs 3,000 in partnership with Airtel," Nivio President and CEO Sachin Duggal told PTI.
The product will be available by the end of this month, he added.
However, he declined to share further details on the product.
Earlier, Nivio had partnered Airtel and Microsoft to launch online PC that provides access to a personal virtual desktop from any computer connected to the internet for Airtel broadband customers.
The company had also launched a device called the Nivio companion, a small set top box, priced at Rs 4,999 which works like Windows desktop and uses internet to work.
