Satyam wins Software AG innovation award

Software AG, a Germany-based independent provider of business infrastructure software, has named Satyam Computer Services as the ‘Partner Innovation Award’ winner at the ‘Innovation World 2008’ conference held in Miami recently.

Satyam won the award for its work with Tele2, one of Europe’s largest telecommunications providers.

On that project, Satyam’s business infrastructure experts implemented and optimised a Software AG solution that helped Tele2 improve customer satisfaction and increase revenues, while reducing lead time for new product introductions by 90 per cent. Additionally, order fulfilment was expedited by more than 30 per cent.

“The award demonstrates Satyam’s ability to transform clients’ businesses by wringing optimum value from their existing technologies and removing the complexity from large-scale integration projects,” Joseph Lagioia, Satyam’s head of consulting and enterprise solutions, stated in a press release today.
