With his phone, FM transmitter and home theatre system in tow, Sachinn Sharma, CEO, Iconsultech, sums up his attention to converge his music at all times. His dream gadget, meanwhile, is a laptop with enviable statistics.

When was the last time your gadgets came to your rescue?
I was travelling and someone gave me a tip regarding a stock that I should pull out of. I was able to log on to the net on my Sony M600i phone and sell my stocks. By the time the day ended, the stock had crashed by more than 21 per cent.

Which gadget has given you maximum juice?
That would be my Nokia N82 which captures important meeting conversations with its dictaphone, works like a perfect camera and keeps me connected through the messenger and email. It also acts like an on-the-move storage space and, back home, I can hook it to my home theatre.

What is the geekiest thing you have ever done?
Reading e-books on my mobile phone seems to be a geeky enough effort for me. I have enjoyed reading them, but I think it is an overkill.

Which of your gadgets make you proud?
My Plantronics Bluetooth headset makes my life easy. I can work, interview, conference while I am writing mails or driving my car. Voice clarity is the best in its class and so is the talk time.

Name a dream gadget.
A powerful one terra bite hard drive 13-inch laptop that weighs around 1.4 kg, has 8 GB of RAM, 1 GB NVIDIA graphics card, Wi-Fi, Blueray writer and inbuilt GPS navigation.

Which was the first true gadget for you?
My first true gadget was a credit card-size pocket FM radio from Japan, which could fool anyone. So small and yet such amazing reception. I still have it.

Tell us about a technology that you hold in awe.
Storage hard drives as they keep getting smaller and better. Hard drives as big at 500 GB come in such a small 2.5’’ frame, making it hard to believe.
