Tata Communications has launched its internet clean pipe solution for the small and medium business segments. The solution, company said, will ensure clean internet traffic by eliminating malware, spam and virus without the customer having to incur capital expenditure on security hardware.
Internet traffic contains data flows and traffic like spyware,malware,worms,trojans and virus which besides compromising the data security of the organisation, also chokes the available bandwidth.
Sunil Joshi, president, Enterprise Business Unit at Tata Communications, said, "Data security is a prime concern for organisations given the serious security threats that exist in today's environment."
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company's shares closed on Tuesday at Rs 491.25, up 0.1 per cent.
