"Each one of these firms have their own independent board directors and are also listed. But I do not see any synergies between these two firms," Tata said in response to a shareholder's question at the company's annual general body meeting on Tuesday.
TCS will be spending over Rs 1,450 crore for equipment upgradation and about Rs 3,000 crore for buying and developing land with the help of group's Tata Realty.
Apart from that, the firm will be spending close to $11 million (about Rs 47 crore) in its branding initiatives
