Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a new development centre at TCS Awdh Park in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Spread over three acres of land, TCS Awdh Park is the second-largest IT establishment in UP after the TCS facility in Noida, with 1,500 seats.

"TCS' expanded footprint in Lucknow should also encourage more investments in the city to help realize its shared dream of becoming an IT-BPO," said S Ramadorai, chief executive and managing director, TCS.

From Lucknow, TCS develops and implements software solutions for global corporations in countries such as the USA, Canada, the UK, Singapore and South Africa, said a press release issued by TCS.
