C K G Nair is former director of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). Prior to joining NISM, he was a member of Securities and Appellate Tribunal (SAT). He was an officer of the Indian Economic Service for about 31 years and held various positions in the Government of India. During this period, he was involved in substantive policy-law-institutional reforms in the financial sector.
