The warehouse will be mainly targeted at industries such as retail, pharma, chemical, QSR & food and apparel. “Clients from many industries like grocery, fruits & vegetables, pharmaceuticals, QSR, milk & dairy, marine, meat and specialty chemicals, etc can meet their cold storage requirements and also avail value-added services like cutting, dicing, mixing, packing, processing, etc at the warehouse,” said Jasjit Sethi, CEO, TCI Supply Chain Solutions.
The new facility is one of the largest and most advanced of its kind. Located in heart of NCR, the cold storage is a part of a large 250,000 sq ft multi-user warehouse facility. The cold warehouse has 5,000 pallet positions, totalling 11,700 CMT of temperature-controlled space. The facility has features designed to lessen environmental impact that include solar panels, rain water harvesting & STP system.
