 "APL Apollo Tubes to set up manufacturing plant in Chhattisgarh")
APL Apollo Tubes Ltd, India's leading ERW steel tubes manufacturer, will set up galvanised sheets & steel tubes manufacturing plant at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with an investment of Rs 75 crores. “As part of the company’s expansion plans and in order to meet the growing demand of products of the company, a new unit is being set up at Raipur, Chhattisgarh with total capital outlay upto Rs 75 crores,” said APL Apollo Tubes Ltd in a BSE filing on May 6, 2016.
The plant will manufacture galvanised steel tubes, hollow section and galvanised sheets having a total capacity of 60,000 MTPA.
APL Apollo Tubes Ltd has also signed the MoU with Government of Chhattisgarh, in this regard and unit is likely to commence the operations by the first quarter of next financial year, FY2017-18.
