Expert View: Nifty may test 24,600 - 24,700 on the upside

"Nifty witnessed another day of bullishness as the index moved above the 38.20% Fibonacci retracement level of the previous decline from 26,277 to 23,263. Additionally, the index has broken out of the recent consolidation phase on the daily chart, indicating a rise in bullish sentiment. Furthermore, Nifty has been sustaining above the critical 21-day exponential moving average (21EMA), reinforcing optimism. The sentiment is likely to remain in favor of the bulls as long as the index sustains above 24,400, with the potential to test levels of 24,600–24,700. On the downside, a fall below 24,400 could trigger a correction towards 24,150."

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Power Finance Corporation today informed that its wholly owned subsidiary PFC Consulting has incorporated a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company that will work towards readying a plan to evacuate 3 GW (under Phase I) renewable energy through transmission lines from Raghanesda area of Gujarat.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This is to inform that the following Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company has been incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) (a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC)."

The company added that a SPV is needed to take up various preparatory activities of the transmission projects, including survey and preparation of report, initialisation of the process of acquisition of land and also initiate the process of seeking forest clearance, if required.

The SPV has to be transferred to the Successful Bidder selected through International Competitive Bidding Process under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Guidelines for Transmission Service issued by Ministry of Power, it noted
