Zee Media on Monday reported widening of its consolidated net loss to Rs 36.76 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 6.51 crore during the January-March period of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing from Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL). Revenue from operations was down 13 per cent to Rs 155.80 crore in March quarter. Total expenses were at Rs 200.21 crore, up 6.4 per cent from the year-ago period. In the quarter, ZMCL's advertising revenue was down 13.5 per cent to Rs 145.44 crore. Its subscription revenue was also down 6.9 per cent to Rs 10 crore. Total income of Zee Media, which includes other income, was also down 16.8 per cent to Rs 161.72 crore. In FY25, ZMCL's loss widened to Rs 119.42 crore from Rs 98.43 crore a year ago. Zee Media Corporation Ltd on Monday said its net loss narrowed to Rs 45.79 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2023. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 51.45 crore in the January-March quarter of the preceding fiscal, Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) said in a BSE filing. Its total revenue from operations fell 40.38 per cent to Rs 147.69 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 247.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. ZMCL's total expenses slipped 18.91 per cent in Q4 FY23 to Rs 178.33 crore against Rs 219.94 crore a year ago. The total income in the March quarter was Rs 161.82 crore, down 35.17 per cent. For the fiscal ended March 2023, ZMCL's net loss narrowed to Rs 68.81 crore from Rs 117.72 crore in FY22. Its revenue from operations dipped 16.87 per cent to Rs 720.62 crore in FY23. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 102.67 crore during the July-September quarter of FY22, ZMCL said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations was down 5.51 per cent to Rs 194.77 crore during the quarter under review. It stood at Rs 206.14 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. Its total expenses rose 17.7 per cent at Rs 204.23 crore in the September quarter. ZMCL is one of the leading news networks of India.
