COVID: Night curfew into effect in Karnataka

Hubli/Shivamogga (Karnataka), Apr 22 (ANI): Karnataka government on April 20 had announced night curfew and weekend lockdown to curb the further spread of COVID-19. Night curfew, started from April 21 will be in place till May 04 from 9 pm to 6 am. Police was on strict vigil in Hubli as night curfew came into effect. Weekend curfew will be enforced starting from 9 pm on April 23 to 6 am on April 26. However, all essential services will remain operational. Karnataka reported 23,558 fresh COVID cases on April 21. Currently there are 1,76,188 active cases in the state.
