KPG Spices is looking to double its turnover to Rs 100 crore this fiscal on the back of new product launches and network expansion, according to a top company official.
A spice brand owned by Marvel King Ltd, which offers a full range of ground spices, achieved a revenue of Rs 50 crore in the financial year ended March this year.
The company has set a target of Rs 100 crore in revenue for the 202526 financial year, Marvel King Ltd Managing Director Gourav Jain said.
To achieve the target, the company has launched a range of whole spices in markets across North India, he said. The company also plans to expand into UP and Rajasthan and the Northeast region.
Our sales and marketing team is working diligently to expand our network to reach 1 lakh retail outlets, said Marvel King Chairman Parveen Jain. We are also exploring opportunities in the e-commerce and quick-commerce marketplaces, Jain added.
KPG Spices, which was launched 14 months ago, currently has a presence in six states  .

Connaught Plaza Restaurants Pvt Ltd (CPRL), the master franchiser for McDonald's restaurants in India for north and east regions, has plans to invest up to USD 150 million (Rs 1,280.7 crore) in next three to four years for expansion of network of quick service restaurant outlets, said a top company official.
It has plans to take the store count by 300 by the end of this year from its existing 245 and then double it in the next three to four years from there, as part of its aggressive expansion plans, said Anant Agarwal, Vice Chairman- MMG Group & CPRL.
Besides, CPRL, part of USD 1.2 billion MMG Group, is also expanding McCafe, the in-restaurant caf brand of McDonald's, from its 125 outlets presently to 200 by the end of this year.

Punjab Police on Sunday said they have busted a weapon-smuggling module with alleged links to Pakistan and arrested one person from Amritsar.
Seven pistols, four live cartridges and Rs 1.50 lakh have allegedly been recovered from the arrested accused.
"Acting on a specific tip-off, Counter Intelligence #Amritsar busts an illegal weapon smuggling module with links to #Pakistan and arrests Abhishek Kumar from Amritsar, recovering 7 pistols (including 5 pistols of .30 bore and 2 Glock 9mm pistols), 4 live cartridges (.30 bore), and Rs 1,50,000 from his possession," Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav posted on X.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday presented a Rs 40,187 crore-budget for the megapolis.
Infrastructure spends across projects have been pegged at Rs 35,151 crore or 87 per cent of the overall expenditure, as per an official statement. The revenues have been estimated at Rs 36,939 crore, and the body chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be borrowing Rs 22,000 crore.
This will result in a budget deficit of Rs 3,249 crore, which the body plans to bridge through land sales, issuance of bonds, financial assistance from the government, and loans from financial institutions, the statement said.
The ongoing metro line projects have been earmarked Rs 10,969 crore of expenditure in the new fiscal, which is a fourth of the overall expenditure..

The Rajya Sabha on Thursday returned the Finance Bill 2025 to the Lok Sabha, along with 35 government amendments, including one that abolishes a 6 per cent digital tax on online advertisements, thus completing the 2025-26 budgetary exercise that started on February 1.
The House also returned the Appropriation Bill (3) with a voice vote.
Earlier in the day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had moved the two bills in the House.
The Lok Sabha had passed the Finance Bill on March 25 and passed the Appropriation Bill on March 21.
Replying to the debate later in the evening, she said the tendency of the finance ministry would be to exercise caution and not let go of revenues.
"But, here we wanted to use this opportunity to show our respect for Indian taxpayer. We have moved towards setting Rs 12 lakh as threshold up to which no one will have to pay any tax," Sitharaman said.
