Restaurant in Lucknow provides free meals to poor during COVID lockdown

Lucknow (UP), May 18 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow is witnessing surge in COVID cases, thousands of daily wagers lost their jobs amid lockdown to curb spread of the pandemic. A restaurant owner is providing free meals to the needy in the city. UP has extended lockdown till May 24, only essential services are allowed. The state reported 1,49,032 active cases till May 18 (08:00 IST)
