Fintech firm One97 Communications, which owns the Paytm brand, will primarily focus on financial services for the merchant ecosystem as part of its international expansion, a top company official said on Monday.

Every economy and geography that I am meeting with senior executives either in the central bank or government love it because SME credit is missing everywhere. If you can solve for payment and solve for future-forward receivables that business model is a template in our opinion. Buoyed by strong consumer response to re-released films, cinema chain PVR INOX Ltd on Monday introduced a feature allowing movie lovers to create or join customised shows at their preferred cinemas.
The company has introduced a platform named SCREENIT available only on PVR INOX app allowing customers to curate their movie experience.
It gives audiences the opportunity to relive classics and fan favourites and enables them to choose from a diverse library of over 500 titles and create community-driven screenings, PVR INOX said in a statement.
"SCREENIT empowers audiences to curate their movie experience, ?choosing what, when and where to watch, ?all while offering exciting rewards," PVR INOX Ltd CEO of Luxury Collection and Innovation,  Renaud Palliere said in a statement.
The company said users can explore the SCREENIT platform and browse through a wide selection of movies and pick their preferred cinema and time, and book tickets.

CCI Chairperson Ravneet Kaur has said the proposed amendments aim to strengthen the regulatory framework governing the recovery of monetary penalties, enhancing procedural clarity and efficiency.
"We are currently reviewing the feedback provided by the stakeholders whereafter the proposed amendments would be gazetted," she said in a message in the regulator's latest quarterly newsletter.
According to the chairperson, the regulator has identified areas where these regulations can be improved to better align with contemporary requirements and streamline the recovery process.

The telecom services industry has batted for the abolition of levies and extension of carry forward of business losses to 16 years in its Budget wishlist, and argued that large traffic generators (LTG) should contribute to USO Fund/Digital Bharat Nidhi Fund.
