Hitting back at Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group's (ADAG) advertisement campaign against it and the Petroleum Ministry over the gas issue, Mukesh-led Reliance Industries (RIL) today said the propaganda was intended at prejudging the issues pending before courts.

As stated earlier, the release of the advertisement completely demonstrates the fact that Reliance Natural Resources (RNRL) is indulging in an orchestrated campaign intended to bring into public debate and prejudge the issues that are pending before the Honourable Courts," an RIL spokesperson said in a statement.

The reaction has come in the backdrop of front-page advertisements in almost all the national dailies, starting Monday this week, by the Anil Ambani group wherein it has alleged RIL of making super-normal profits with the help of the petroleum ministry.

RIL and Anil Ambani group firm RNRL are engaged in a long- running legal battle over supply of gas from Mukesh-led firm's Krishna Godavari gas fields and the matter is scheduled to come up for hearing in Supreme Court on September 1.

"As stated earlier, we reiterate that we will present our views and contetions on all aspects only before the Honourable courts," the RIL spokesperson added.
