Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has posted an increase of 7.7% in net profit at Rs 81.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014, as against Rs 75.52 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The total income reached Rs 998.18 crore for the quarter, compared to Rs 848.29% posted during the corresponding quarter of previous year, marking an increase of 17.7%.
The income from healthcare services segment increased to Rs 633.40 crore for the quarter, whereas it was registered at Rs 562.68 crore, with around 12.6% growth. The income from pharmacy segment has grown 27.6%, at Rs 364.85 crore for the quarter endded Mach 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 285.87 crore during the same period of last fiscal year.
