| In keeping with the environmental norms, the PitStop will also function as a collection centre for used batteries. The collection of used batteries is a critical step in controlling backyard smelting by scrap merchants. |

| Amara Raja supplies automotive batteries exclusively to DaimlerChrysler, Ford and Swaraj Mazda and preferentially to Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Fiat, General Motors, Hindustan Motors, Honda, International Tractors (Sonalika), Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra and Telco. |
