Ascent Capital picks up minority stake in Shasun's animal health JV

Alivira Animal Health manufactures and sells both veterinary APIs and formulations in the global market

Shasun Pharmaceuticals Ltd has today informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that Ascent Capital Advisors India Pvt Ltd, a private equity investor has taken a minority stake in Alivira Animal Health Ltd.

Alivira Animal Health Ltd is a joint venture between Shasun Pharma and Sequent Scientific Ltd engaged in developing, manufacturing and sale of veterinary products inclusive of both API (Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients) and Formulations in the global market.
