Three-wheeler maker Atul Auto today said it has clocked 60% jump in its sales at 19,406 units in FY11, over the year ago period.
The company had registered sales of 12,345 units in FY10.
"At the beginning of the year we had projected a growth of 50% on sales, but we beat our own estimate and achieved 60% growth due to better market conditions and increasing dealer network. We have grown substantially higher than the industry, which grew 18%," Atul Auto Director Vijay Kedia said in a statement.
"All our brands have been doing well. We see great market potential for our vehicles. Taking into consideration the growing demands, especially in the semi-urban and rural markets, the sales are likely to grow substantially up further in the current year," he said.
