Barclays Wealth and Investment Management today said it has appointed Balaji Vardhan as a director in the company.
He will be based in Chennai and will be responsible for developing and servicing high net worth clients in the region. Vardhan will also manage a team of private client relationship managers and lead the business development initiatives in the region. He will report to Vishal Jain, managing director and head of sales of Barclays' Wealth and Investment Management.
Prior to this appointment Vardhan was a director at BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
