Saugato Bhowmik joins Viacome18 as head, consumer products business

Bhowmik has 12 years experience across consumer brands in Dabur India and Hindustan Unilever

Saugato Bhowmik has joined Viacom18 as the head of consumer products business. He comes in from Unilever where he led sales strategy development for general trade business across all key markets. He replaces Sandip Dahiya who left the company to join Bennett Coleman Company Limited to head the business brands there.
 
Bhowmik has 12 years experience across consumer brands in Dabur India and Hindustan Unilever. He has led brands in home and personal care categories based in India and Singapore. In Singapore he led the Unilever Business for tooth brushes for Asia within the oral care category.  
 
Bhowmik said, “The dynamic nature of the broadcast industry presents multiple opportunities for marketers to leverage the power of our brands across multiple consumer touchpoints, and I hope to apply my experience and contribute to the rapid growth of consumer products business at Viacom18.”
