IT services firm NIIT Technologies today said it has appointed former Infosys Senior Vice President Sudhir Chaturvedi as it Chief Operating Officer (COO).
"Sudhir joins NIIT Technologies from Infosys where he last served as Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Services Americas Business Unit," Noida-based NIIT Technologies said in a release.
Chaturvedi will be responsible for global sales and delivery for the technology and business services of the firm, it added.
Chaturvedi's induction would bring fresh perspectives and enhance leadership bandwidth to execute on our next phase of growth, he added.
In his 13 years stint at Infosys, Chaturvedi played a leadership role in the firms as EMEA's retail head, EMEA sales head and Europe manufacturing vertical head, before moving to the US as Financial Services Business unit head, the release said.
