Telecom major Bharti Airtel today announced the appointment of new CEOs for its broadband and direct-to-home (DTH) services.
Rajiv Rajgopal has been appointed as airtel's new Chief Executive Officer for broadband and data services.
Prior to this role, Rajgopal led airtel's mobile business in the circles of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Shashi Arora is the new CEO-DTH and Media services. Prior to this, he successfully led the mobile business for some of airtel's telecom circles in Delhi and the upper northern part of the country.
"With their rich experience and understanding of the business, we are confident that they will further consolidate and build on our leadership in both broadband/data and DTH/media verticals," Bharti airtel CEO-India & South Asia Sanjay Kapoor said in a statement.
Both Rajiv Rajgopal and Shashi Arora will report to Bharti airtel President, Consumer Business, K Srinivas.
