S K Biswas on Thursday took over the charge of director (personnel) of THDC India Limited, a public-sector hydropower producer.
With a vast experience of more than 30 years in the field of human resource management, read a THDCIL statement, Biswas had joined THDCIL as general manager (personnel & administration) in 2007. Over these years he has also worked in various other reputed public-sector undertakings (PSUs), — Cement Corporation of India (CCI), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVNL) — in various capacities.
Biswas had started his career as an executive trainee in 1983 in Cement Corporation of India (CCI) and served there up to 1993 at the level of Asstt. Manager.
Thereafter, he joined Nathpa Jhakari Power Corporation Ltd, rechristened Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (SJVN Ltd.), and reached up to the level of AGM (Personnel).
