Pharma major Cadila Healthcare has posted a rise of 15.38% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 229.82 crore for the quarter ended June compared with Rs 199.18 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
The drug maker's total income during the period rose to Rs 1,252 crore from Rs 1,136.65 crore, up 10.14%.
However, on the standalone-basis, company's net profit stood 23% lower at Rs 152.93 crore compared with Rs 198.64 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Similarly, total standalone income declined to Rs 790.52 crore from Rs 799.11 crore.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, shares of Cadila were trading at Rs 969.05, up 0.86% at IST 1456.
