Carnival Cinemas Introduces MoviEcard

To watch unlimited movies at 38 screens in 9 Carnival Cinema Halls across Mumbai for 30 days from the day of activation

Shrikant Bhasi-led Carnival Cinemas, has introduced the Carnival MoviEcard in Mumbai from October 1, which will allow holders to watch unlimited movies for a period of 30 days at any of Carnival Cinema's halls in the city. The Carnival MoviEcard comes in two variants i.e, Weekday Carnival MoviEcard (Monday to Thursday) for just Rs 499 and All Day Carnival MoviEcard for just Rs 799.

The Carnival MoviEcard can be used to watch unlimited movies at 38 screens in 9 Carnival Cinema Halls across Mumbai for 30 days from the day of activation. Customer can purchase the MoviEcard either logging onto www.carnivalcinemas.com or visiting the nearest carnival cinemas or by calling carnival call centre and can be renewed after a month by the same way.

P V Sunil, chief executive and director, Carnival Cinemas said: "This card fulfills the objective of providing unlimited entertainment at a very affordable cost to our patrons. It's no more seen as a luxury but a reach out to the people. For the first time in India, Carnival is offering patrons the opportunity to watch unlimited movies at Carnival Cinema Halls at a fixed and affordable cost. The process of acquiring Carnival MoviEcard can be done within minutes online and you can start using it straight away. Currently, it is available in Mumbai and we are expanding this offering in other cities in phases soon."

Carnival Cinemas is one of the largest multiplex chains in India. Carnival Cinemas acquired Anil Ambani's Big Cinemas in December 2014. The Group also acquired Glitz Cinemas, which was a part of Capital 18; a subsidiary of Mukesh Ambani's Network 18 Media in 2015 and also acquired HDIL's multiplex chain Broadway Cinema. Carnival is expanding its screen presence in most of the cities and towns to provide quality movie experience.

Carnival Cinemas has presence in over 20 states and is currently present in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Telengana, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh.
