Cipla, AIDS groups oppose Roche`s AIDS drug patent in India

The Chennai patent office had granted protection for valganciclovir to Swiss MNC Hoffmann-La Roche (Roche) last year. The Delhi Network of Positive People (DNP+), an organisation representing HIV/ AIDS patients, filed a post-grant opposition against valganciclovir today.
