Della Adventure, an adventure park company based in this hill station town, plans to expand its operations to Ahmedabad, Indore, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Noida over the next two years, a top company official said.

Della Adventure, owned by the Della Tecnica Group, offers as many as 86 activities and sports including a Rs flying fox' zip line of 1,250 metres, zorbing, ATV rides, paint ball and paragliding among others. "After the success of our first adventure park, we plan to replicate it in 30 other cities. To start with, we plan to set up parks in the Delhi NCR region, either in Gurgaon or Noida, Indore, Ahemadabad and Bangalore," Della Tecnica chairman and managing director Jimmy Mistry said.

It is currently looking for land owners who can also invest in the project. "We invested around Rs 250 crore for the Lonavala project. Since we want to expand, we will not be able to fund our projects by ourselves. We are looking for joint venture partners who own land and are ready to invest."

The company is eyeing Rs 1,500 crore turnover in the next two years once the five parks are operational, he said. "Once these parks go operational, we will look at Baroda, Surat, Chennai, Hyderabad and Nagpur among others in the second phase."

It is also set to launch the second phase of its Lonavala park by July, which includes adding a banqueting hall with a capacity of 1,500 people, as well as 24 new villas for sale under the second home concept.
