The company had sold a total of 673 vehicles during February 2012.
In February 2013, the sports utility vehicle (SUV) Duster accounted for 5,590 units, sedan Scala 620 units, compact car Pulse 420 units, sedan Fluence 65 units and SUV Koleos 28 units, Renault India said in a statement.
Commenting on the numbers, Renault India Executive Director (Marketing and Sales) Sumit Sawhney said, "Renault's continuing growth in India is a reflection of the increasing acceptance among customers as a strong player in the country's automotive space."
Renault cars are produced at the manufacturing facility located in Oragadam, Chennai, with a capacity of four lakh units per annum.
