Public sector lender Central Bank of India today said Salim Gangadharan has been nominated to its board by the Indian government as the nominee of the Reserve Bank.
Gangadharan, who comes in place of M K Bhattacharya, will assume charge as the RBI nominee director from August 30, Central Bank of India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
"Salim Gangadharan has been nominated by the government of India, Ministry of Finance, department of Financial Services, on the board of the bank as RBI nominee Director with effect from August 30 in place of M K Bhattacharya."
