Gitanjali Group ties up with Italy's Emonte

Gitanjali Group, India’s leading jewellery and lifestyle products manufacturer and retailer, has entered into an exclusive marketing and distribution tie-up with Italy’s largest writing instrument retailer, Emonte. Under the agreement, Gitanjali Group would roll out Emonte’s leading pen brands Visconti from Italy and Kaweco from Germany in India.

Following its association with Emonte, which enjoys exclusive marketing and distribution rights for Visconti in India and Southeast Asia, Gitanjali plans to offer the Visconti brand through its retail jewellery stores across the country. By the end of July, the first segment of Visconti pens would be available at Gitanjali Group outlets, and by the end of 2011-12, these would be retailed through all the Gitanjali jewellery stores.
