Honda Cars sales down by 25.88%

Company's domestic sales stood at 9,954 units in May

Honda Cars India on Wednesday reported 25.88% decline in its domestic sales at 9,954 units in May.

It had sold 13,431 units in the same month last year, the automaker said in a statement.

Last month, Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) sold 228 units of small car Brio, 2,473 premium hatchback Jazz, 1,409 compact sedan Amaze, 126 MPV Mobilio and 3,305 mid-sized sedan City.

The company has sold 2,344 units of its new compact sports utility vehicle (SUV), BR-V.

Besides, the company sold 69 units of SUV CRV. In addition, it exported a total of 651 units during the month.
