Electricity equipment maker Indure has said it would build parts for the 500 Mw thermal power station in Rajasthan, to be commissioned in the next two years.
"Indure Private Ltd (IPL) would undertake equipment for 500 Mw units of a thermal power station (TPS) in Rajasthan, which is slated for commissioning in 24 months," a company statement said.
The City-based company has bagged Rs 930-crore engineering, procurement and construction contract from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, which is implementing the 500 Mw project.
State-run power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) is supplying turbines, generators and boilers for the project.
IPL is a sister concern of Desein Consulting Engineers, and has already won contracts for Bokaro and Durgapur captive power plants of SAIL.
