Infosys has reshuffled the top deck at its business process outsourcing (BPO) services subsidiary by appointing a new CEO. The company has named Anantha Radhakrishnan, who was previously the chief operating officer (COO) at Infosys BPO as the CEO & MD of the BPO business.

Anup Upadhyaya, who was earlier heading Infosys BPO would now work for the parent company as an Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Sales Programme with the mandate to help the company winning large deals.

In his new role, Upadhyaya would work closely with Mohit Joshi, president and Head of banking and financial services business unit at Infosys.

Earlier this month, the Bengaluru-headquartered company had effected a realignment of its BPO business with itself with an aim of driving greater synergy in delivery of services. As a part of this, the CEO and MD of Infosys BPO would now report to Ravi Kumar S, president and chief delivery officer.

In the recent past, the growth of Infosys BPO has failed to keep face with the growth of the company's IT business. In FY16, Infosys BPO reported $551 million in revenues, a drop of 1.2% over the previous year.
