Ipca Laboratories today said its consolidated net profit rose by 27.98% to Rs 262.82 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 205.36 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010, Ipca Laboratories, said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 1,882.54 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 over Rs 1,559.55 crore for the same period previous fiscal.
In a separate filing to the BSE, the company said its board recommended a final dividend of 60% of Rs 1.20 per share of Rs 2 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2011.
Standalone net profit of the company stood at Rs 255.37 crore for the year ended March 31,2011 over Rs 209.19 crore for the previous fiscal.
The company posted net sales of Rs 1,865.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 as against Rs 1,545.55 crore for the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Ipca laboratories today closed at Rs 296.45 on the BSE, up 0.54% from the previous close.
