In order to cater to the growing demand for micro-irrigation systems and piping systems in Gujarat. Jain Irrigation Systems (JISL), a Maharashtra-based leading company in micro irrigation space, has inaugurated its micro-irrigation plant at Sihor in Bhavnagar district.
This plant, the second plant by company in Gujarat, will produce micro irrigation system components, including drip systems, sprinklers and irrigation pipes.
For this project, the company has invested Rs 25 crore in the first phase and it intends to pump in Rs 100 crore in a phased manner. "This new plant is part of the company's endeavour to go closer to the farmer, work with them and help them prosper. We bring our holistic approach to agriculture that has transformed lives of millions of farmers throughout India," said Atul Jain, director marketing, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.
