JIK Industries restores premium glassware supplies

JIK Industries Ltd, a manufacturer of crystal glassware and allied products, has announced restoration in its luxury products to its prominent customers like major star hotels and prestigious retail stores. The company in a BSE filing said on Friday that the unfortunate accident that had reduced it to ashes overnight in 2004, has restructured its facility and is now debt free.

Also, this further reinforces the company's commitment to create products that are inspired by world art designs and combined with Indian traditional art to embody a design element that speaks of global fusion. Also, these products are at display at the company's South Mumbai outlet.

The company is a leading producer and distributor of crystal and hand made artistic glassware has tied up with Lindshammar Glasbruk AB, a 100-year-old Swedish Company, for technical and marketing collaboration. It retails its wide range of high growth and hi margin lifestyle crystal glassware and also supplies to all leading five star hotels.

The company posted 37 times jump in sales at Rs 20.43 crore for the financial year 2009-2010 as compared to a paltry Rs 54.74 lakh in the previous year. The net profit of the company increased to Rs 2.9 crore and the net worth by 20.49 per cent.
