Karur Vysya Bank reports 7 % growth in net profit

Bank's total income rose 8% to Rs 1,512 crore

 

Karur Vysya Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 113.88 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 106.82 crore, a year ago, an increase of around seven per cent.

Bank's total income rose to Rs 1,511.80 crore from Rs 1403.61 crore, an increase of around eight per cent.

Gross NPA stood at Rs 680.10 crore as compared to Rs 484.93 crore and gross NPA per centage stood at 1.91 per cent as compared to 1.47%. Net NPA stood at Rs 256.61 crore as compared to Rs 158.15 crore. In per centage it was stood at 0.73%  as compared to 0.48%.
